We’ve been very busy trying to organising our new race the Dorset Conquest which take place on Saturday 15th June evening and Sunday 16th June morning. It is a brilliant course similar to that of the Dorset Invader in the past, with scenic views, varied and undulating terrain and a great range of biodiversity on route. Traditionally Buster the horse will be starting the Dorset Conquest.
We provide a good fun atmosphere here at East Farm, where we support local produce, local talented bands and local charities. This year we are looking forward to raising some funds for the Dorset Cancer Centre (based at Poole and Dorchester).
We are very lucky to have the support, help and reassurance of Kevin and Denise Day – who have been brilliant. We are very lucky to have the kind help from Steve and Hannah Claxton. Kindly Ruth Berry and Neale from the great black Hill race have volunteered plus many more already. We are hoping to have at least two bands join us for the evening barn dance, where food and local handmade beef, pork and game burgers are available.
We have some brilliant facilities on site for your convenience such as the farmshop and café. Our new toilet facilities is available for you. We offer free car parking for runners and spectators. Camping is available all weekend at a discounted price for all runners. All finishers will receive a great local goody bag and a bespoke medal. Prizes are available for the first 3. Plus you can purchase one of our T- Shirts.
